About the Course
The Gold Standard - An all-inclusive 77-hour ICF Accredited Level 1 Program
This comprehensive three-part Level 1 Associate Certified Life & Leadership Coach (ACLC) Program™ is designed to train you to the world’s Gold Standard of coaching. Upon completion you will satisfy all of the training and mentoring hours and assessment required for securing the International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential at the ACC level when you have fulfilled the required 100 coaching hours.
Note: The ACC credential can only be awarded by the ICF. Prior to claiming or calling yourself an ACC credentialed coach you must apply through the ICF and pass the ICF Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA) to earn the right to claim an ICF ACC credential. Don't worry, we have all this covered for you in our ACLC program which is also referred to as Level 1.
Wow! All requirements met in one place without having to piece-meal your training together. Additionally, CFL stands committed to staying abreast of any changing requirements for ICF Credential paths. Upon completion you will confidently know that you coach at or above the ACC - Associate Certified Coach level.
And you are Certifiable! Upon successful completion you can present yourself as a Certified Coach. A highly regarded Coach For Life Associate Certified Life & Leadership Coach (ACLC) to be exact.
Equally important – if not more so – is Coach For Life’s dedication to discovering, developing and celebrating the UNIQUE YOU! You will learn and integrate the professional coaching standards (the Science of Coaching). You will also be encouraged to integrate your unique style into your coaching (the Art of Coaching).

Overview
This program contains the educational hours a coach needs to become an Associate Certified Coach. More importantly, the program holds the high level of focus and support needed for the new coach to gain the competence, confidence and structure to start coaching. Many graduates of the Associate Certified Life & Leadership Coach Program (ACLC) begin their coaching practice while many others integrate the coaching skill-set and coaching mind-set learned back into their current profession and career.

Key coaching strength is coaching to the level of being, bringing compassionate accountability to the coaching process, resulting in organizational fabric of greater strength and longevity. Bringing Psychological Safety allows participants to dig deep, be completely authentic with themselves, say what is too uncomfortable to say out loud, and finally get it resolved.
I hold that coaching is both a science and an art. The science side comes naturally, and is fed by my fascination with neuroscience and procedural outcomes. The art is mystery and beauty, and lets me know there will always be more to learn. The combination brings curiosity and discovery, cornerstones of coaching.
My coaching style is one of multiple perspectives; I will always bring another view, along with humor and challenges, all wrapped in a blanket of compassion and warmth that supports connection and dynamic outcomes.
Experienced in international projects, facilitated workshops, and held space for large cross functional teams to bring forth desired outcomes.
I believe that one can be simultaneously logical and creative if they receive encouragement and are willing. Passions include tending food forests, trying to keep up with my Basenjis, and indulging my fascination with the neuroscience of human behavior and communication.
